JOB SUMMARY

Leads the cross-functional development, alignment and execution of the Commercial and Government/Defense Strategic Business Units’ inventory, supply and product demand planning. Partners with the operations team functions (manufacturing operations, upfit operations, materials planning & logistics, and PG&A) to drive order fulfillment, customer deliveries and continuous improvements. The SIOP and Sales Operations Manager will work closely with cross-functional business team to provide forecasting, planning and inventory management and overall order-to-cash performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leads the development and execution of the Commercial and Gov/Def 12+ month ship and inventory plan

  • Develops and implements best practices in SIOP and demand forecasting processes, procedures and tools to achieve sales and inventory goals via accurate 12+ month ship plans
  • Presents and influences ship/retail plan with Commercial and Gov/Def Exec Management
  • Integrates SIOP plan with ORV team

Partners with the MFG, Upfit Ops and supply planning teams to develop and drive improvement for a world class SIOP process

  • Drives cross-functional alignment on processes, roles & responsibilities and planning with leadership
  • Utilizes systems and processes to improve efficiencies & data accuracy across the value stream
  • Liaison with cross-functions Ops team, including production, logistics, supply chain
  • Partners closely with PG&A SIOP, distribution, and supply chain teams to optimize the vehicle upfit process
  • Provide insights and requirements to supply planning teams on commercial and defense specific parts/accessories

Leads order fulfillment and order-to-cash for Commercial and Gov/Def SBUs

  • Analyzes whole good orders, product allocations, build plans, availability inventory, shipments and sales plans to manage commercial and gov/def order fulfillment
  • Partners with upfit operations team to ensure customer delivery expectations are met
  • Partners with sales leadership, strategic customers and partner companies (Bobcat, 3rd party government customers) to ensure order fulfillment alignment
  • Leads Accounts Receivable team follow-up with key customers and drives improvements to past due monthly balances
  • Drives order-to-cash execution; strives for process and system enhancements

Employee Management and Development

  • Establish and manage clear goals for team
  • Provide coaching and employee development to improve team capability, efficiency and strengthen key relationships
  • Prepares and distributes daily, weekly and monthly reports

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelors Degree required in business or an equivalent field
  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, advanced presentation/communication skills, detail oriented, ability to prioritize workload
  • Ability to work successfully within a team, cross-functionally and independently.
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity by demonstrating strong analytic, strategic, innovative thinking and problem solving.
  • Retail analytics and logistics or inventory management experience is a plus.
  • Alteryx, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Blue Yonder, RFM experience is a plus
  • Features & Options (F&O) and take rate understanding is a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Dynamic, high-pressure environment in a standard office setting
  • Location – Medina (Headquarters)
  • Intermittent travel – 10-20%

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $109,000 to $144,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
