Your Teams Impact:

FactSet is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Client Support Engineer I to join our IBS Front Office – OMS Client Services team. This role is pivotal in supporting our clients by delivering robust and timely technical solutions within the Order Management System (OMS) and Compliance space. You will work collaboratively with Global Implementation Teams to provide best-in-class support, build customized trade reporting files, and configure compliance workflows aligned with industry regulations and client-specific mandates.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, generate, and deliver customized trade report files based on client specifications and evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Configure and test compliance rules within FactSet’s OMS to align with clients' investment mandates and operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and implement scalable reporting and compliance solutions.
  • Partner with global implementation teams to support system deployments, feature enhancements, and workflow optimizations.
  • Participate in new client onboarding by managing the technical setup of trade reporting formats and compliance rule sets.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and industry standards to ensure alignment of compliance configurations and reporting outputs.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for client configurations, internal processes, and technical procedures to support auditability and knowledge transfer.

What We Are Looking For:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in technical support, trading operations, financial software implementation, or financial technology services.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Understanding of buy-side and/or sell-side trading workflows, order management systems (OMS), and execution management system (EMS).
  • Familiarity with compliance rule engines and regulatory reporting requirements within capital markets.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in database technologies for data extraction, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python is a strong plus.
  • Experience with configuration-driven platforms or compliance systems is preferred.

  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
