CNC Machinist – Slaughter, LA

EVALUATION HIRE

$25 -30 / hr.

Day Shift 8 am – 5 pm

Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for a CNC Machinist with Operating and Programming Experience. In this role, you will play a key role in our manufacturing process, utilizing your expertise in both CNC machine operation and programming. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to produce high-quality components with efficiency.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for CNC MACHINIST:

• Set up and operate a variety of CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production
• Program CNC machines using MAZATROL Programming Language
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specified tolerances and quality standards
• Make adjustments to CNC machines as necessary to maintain optimal performance
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and optimize machining processes
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a focus on both operation and programming
• Proficiency in programming CNC machines using MAZATROL Programming Language
• Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Knowledge of tooling selection, cutting speeds, and feeds
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed
• A certificate or degree in CNC machining or a related field is a plus
