Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Front End NodeJS Developer with 8+ years of experience in WEB application development and must have 4+ years of strong hands-on experience with React and Node development.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js, Express and JavaScript. Design and implement RESTful APIs to enable communication between different parts of an application, including front-end and other services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of CSS and HTML for user-friendly interfaces
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Participating in the design and architecture of Java applications, including database design, API design, and system integration.
• Setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices, participate in code reviews, and contribute to improving development workflows.

What you’ll need to succeed (required skills):

• A minimum of 8+ years of experience in WEB application development and must have 4+ years of strong hands-on experience with React and Node development
• Experience in developing reusable components for web/ mobile development using ReactJS, React Hooks, Redux, JavaScript, ES6, Typescript, HTML and CSS along with a strong knowledge of React-redux
• Familiar with Express.js and OAuth/OIDC protocols
• Understanding of scalable system architecture
• Skilled in Azure, Terraform, and Kubernetes
• Experienced with Jira and Confluence
• Experience building and consuming APIs

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client office in Toronto, ON.
