Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

Join our team for the installation of 20 robotic arms, roughly 40 sub-stations, and internal site fencing. The majority of work will be conducted on mezzanine and sub-mezzanine levels. You will perform a variety of tasks including using power tools, operating pallet jacks, and assisting project teams by commissioning, cleaning warehouses, and building robotic arms and stations.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the installation of robotic arms, sub-stations, and site fencing.
• Operate pallet jacks to move, strap, and catalogue materials.
• Utilize hand and air-powered tools to commission towers according to diagrams.
• Follow detailed step-by-step instructions.
• Run wiring for power supply.
• Handle materials and perform general labor tasks such as loading, packaging, and cleaning.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift 40-50lbs consistently.
• Experience working an 8-hour day on a hard cement floor.
• Good attendance and reliability.
• Ability to take direction well.
• Willingness to work in multiple positions from inventory to housekeeping.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in material handling and robotics.
• General labor and construction experience.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a bustling distribution center which can be messy and loud at times. It is crucial to maintain a professional and presentable appearance due to high visibility. The dress code includes PPE such as a high visibility vest, glasses, hard hat, gloves, earplugs, and steel toe shoes/boots. Jeans and t-shirts are acceptable, but avoid loose, baggy clothing.

This is a Contract position based out of San Antonio, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
