Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

Join our production team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our processes. You will be responsible for safely moving materials, supporting production lines, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace within our frozen warehouse and processing areas.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily forklift inspections and complete inspection checklists.
  • Safely operate a 3-stage forklift in a racked frozen warehouse.
  • Move pails, cases, and totes from frozen storage to production lines.
  • Track and manage inventory transactions accurately.
  • Transport products between production, drying, and storage areas.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization in the dryer and infusion areas.
  • Stack pallets, bins, and lugs neatly in outdoor areas.
  • Remove waste and garbage from the plant to designated disposal areas.
  • Inspect materials before supplying them to production.
  • Provide break relief for other line operators.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Essential Skills

  • Valid forklift certification and experience with 3-stage forklifts.
  • Ability to read and interpret lot numbers, tags, and warehouse locations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Good attendance and reliability.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable with standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Good vision (with or without corrective lenses) and color differentiation.
  • Use of hands and arms for reaching, handling, and operating equipment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
