We are currently seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join the Cybersecurity Awareness and Governance Team supporting Enterprise Information Security (EIS). The Enterprise Information Security group is responsible for enabling secure innovation and business growth for over 10,000 employees across 44 states. EIS is rapidly growing and focused on creating a relevant program that will enable our organization’s long-term success. The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer:
- Develop automated methods to implement and maintain cybersecurity governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Automate the lifecycle of governance documents, including version control, approval workflows, and audit trails.
- Prepare EIS teams for internal audits, external assessments, and regulatory exams by ensuring compliance with industry standards such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and FFIEC.
- Design and implement automated controls to enforce security policies and compliance requirements across systems and environments.
- Prepare and present reports on risk posture, compliance status, and audit findings to stakeholders and leadership.
- Advise executive leadership on cybersecurity risks and controls by translating technical risks into business impact, recommending mitigation strategies, and supporting risk-based decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash, Power Automate) to streamline GRC processes and control enforcement.
- Experience with GRC tools (e.g., Archer, ServiceNow GRC, LogicGate).
- Familiarity with document management systems and workflow automation platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, ServiceNow).
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid Agile environments, including participation in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery cycles.
- AI experience related to facilitating and responding to Audit/Exam activities: readiness, field work, issue management, trends, etc
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and interpret risk data.
- Comfortable working with limited oversight to coordinate and accomplish needed efforts. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.
- 6+ years of experience plus a bachelors degree in Information Systems Management, Information Security, Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
- Certifications are a plus (ie - CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP, Archer Certified Specialist, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – GRC)
