Here's what you'd do:
- This role will work directly with scientists in a lab setting and assist in setting up labs and inventory.
- In this role, you will report to the Manager.
- You will work closely with the client's Lab and Production Services professionals to serve our customers by performing customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time to science.
- Be responsible for managing consumables and chemicals' inventory, including documenting inventory movement by recording additions, disbursements, adjustments, losses, and removals of items, accurate inventory control, processing requests leading to inventory movement on and off-site, and fulfilling customer metric reporting.
- Prepare inventory reports by collecting and analyzing information on stock usage.
- Maintain inventory operations by following policies and procedures and report any changes as needed.
- Monitor slow-moving and dead inventory, conduct cycle counting, yearly physical inventories, and report.
- Package delivery and pickup.
- Glass wash put away
- Provide daily customer service functions and communicate with customers regarding inventory management.
- Perform purchasing functions including but not limited to: back order reporting and expediting, direct factory shipments, 3rd party support, managing quotes, document control, records maintenance, and resolving open invoices or pricing issues.
- Provide a high level of customer service related to functions, including but not limited to order entry, reporting, maintaining metrics, and cost savings tracking.
- Perform shipping coordination activities such as shipping customer material, handling routine issues, operating basic warehouse equipment, entering shipping information into the customer computer system, and equipment inspections.
- Handle hazardous materials and prepare shipping documentation and packaging requirements.
- Interface directly with customer point of contact, purchasing directors, facility directors, and plant managers.
- Manage consigned, non-consigned, customer-owned, and 3rd party inventory.
- Utilizes client and customer computer systems (SAP, Citrix, Intranet, client Inventory Management Systems, ChemSW, and customer-specific systems) to fulfill job duties.
- Meets goals and objectives of safety, performance, and quality.
- Creates programs for enhanced service efficiencies.
- Interfacing with the client's sales force and manufacturing representatives.
- Document change management.
- Delivery of inbound packages to customer contacts.
- High regard for safety, quality, and adherence to protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Updating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures.
Here's what you'll get:
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 / hr.
Hours: 40 hrs/Week.
Length: Contract (6 months).

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in inventory/material handling or account management.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Inventory Management.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Client Facing.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Customer Service.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Cycle Counting, SAP, Material Handling, and Deliveries.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in ERP Systems.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in purchasing and inventory.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and excellent communication.
- Microsoft Teams experience.
- Be flexible, adaptable, and multi-task oriented.
- Ability to self-manage, motivate others, and be forward-thinking.
- Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary to interact with customers and various departments within the client.
- GMP and GLP training.
