Job Title: Quality Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in quality assurance, particularly within the manufacturing industry, and will work closely with operations to drive proactive improvements and address failures.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with operations on the floor to implement proactive improvements and address failures.
  • Work within an assembly operation environment, focusing on process and assembly quality.
  • Contribute to the quality team of 8 members by sharing expertise and supporting team goals.
  • Elaborate on past experiences, demonstrating a proactive approach to quality engineering.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
  • Utilize Six Sigma methodologies and other quality tools for process enhancement.

Essential Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards is a plus.
  • Ability to articulate past experiences and involvement in quality engineering projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with AS9102, CQE, or IPC is a bonus.
  • Motivation and willingness to learn and adapt.

Work Environment

This position involves working 70% of the time on the operations floor. The role is part of a dynamic quality team of 8, focusing on assembly operations. Emphasis is placed on a proactive approach to quality improvements and effective communication with cross-functional teams.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
