Position Overview

We are seeking a multi-channel campaign specialist to support marketing efforts across a range of activities and platforms. This role will develop, implement, and manage email and SMS marketing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including managing lead scoring, nurture sequences, and content messaging, and supporting website management, including content updates, SEO, and more.

This person will play a critical role in the day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives with a focus on:

  • Leading the well-managed delivery of journey orchestration campaigns and initiatives
  • Partner with the marketing and sales teams to design and execute cross-channel SFMC campaigns / journeys (email, web, SMS, and other channels), including filtering audiences
  • Oversee journey planning and execution, including technical reviews and quality control
  • Bring expertise in personalization and marketing automation to infuse leading practices around dynamic email content and segmentation rules to customize marketing campaigns
  • Monitoring processes and data flow to ensure accuracy
  • Managing reporting and analytics on marketing automation campaigns
  • Maintaining data hygiene and adhere to CAN-SPAM and other regulatory/compliance laws
  • Assist with website oversight, including content updates and landing page creation
  • Work in partnership with our digital agency on implementing SEO strategies and best practices
  • Monitor website traffic

The ideal candidate has a track record in supporting digital marketing efforts across a range of areas in entrepreneurial multi-unit B2C businesses. This is a remote role but ideally located within one of the C2 Education markets and reports to the CMO.

Top priorities include:

  • Develop, implement, and execute SFMC journeys, including list management, email creation, and campaign execution
  • Monitor website KPIs and make recommendations for ways to optimize the site for SEO and conversions
  • Perform basic website auditing and maintenance
  • Support broader marketing initiatives and campaigns across paid digital, organic, social, in-center, etc.
  • Monitor daily processes to identify and resolve issues

Skills, experience, and required qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Marketing or related field preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Pardot preferred
  • Experience with HTML/CSS; WordPress; GA4; social media platforms; Microsoft Office, preferably with advanced Excel skills; basic SQL; project management
  • Basic Photoshop and Illustrator skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to recognize data trends or anomalies
  • Flexibility to handle changes in project priorities
  • Problem solver with a desire to continually learn
