The Opportunity:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Network Recapitalization Technician to join our network modernization team. This role will support the Network Recapitalization Lead in implementing strategic network upgrades and improvements to enhance our organization's infrastructure performance, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in assessing current network infrastructure and identifying areas for improvement and modernization.
  • Support the development and execution of network upgrade plans and strategies.
  • Conduct technical analysis of existing network components and proposed solutions.
  • Participate in the implementation of network upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to existing operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure network changes meet business needs.
  • Assist in evaluating new network technologies and solutions for potential implementation.
  • Help maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, architectures, and upgrade processes.
  • Support testing and validation of new network implementations.
  • Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures for network upgrades and maintenance
  • Assist in monitoring and reporting on the progress of recapitalization projects.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of related work experience
  • TS/SCI w/ poly is required
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, architectures, and security principles
  • Knowledge of integrating networking equipment from multiple vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Extreme Networks)
  • Familiarity with current and emerging network technologies
  • Experience with network monitoring and management tools
  • Knowledge of best practices in network design and implementation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$103,800 - $218,100
