As a Digital Product Designer in Charles River’s UX Innovation Division, you will be responsible for delivering high-caliber user experiences spanning user research, wireframe development, concept design and interactive prototyping, as well as supporting the expansion and application of our visual design system. You should have a comprehensive understanding of the experiences enabled by current user interface technologies, with a critical awareness of implications on user-centered design and functionality. You are detail-oriented, comfortable working on highly technical teams, skilled in eliciting and acting upon user requirements, and able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

How you will make a difference:

• Be a UX advocate, establishing and applying best practices to design key interactions and workflows across a broad range of desktop, mobile, and augmented and virtual reality applications
• Lead interactions with project stakeholders and end users to understand design opportunities and evolve interaction concepts
• Research, design, and present competitive user experiences to project team
• Create and manage design assets for engineering
• Work in close collaboration with key project team members, including PM and technical leads and software developers, to see your design through to deployment
• Communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization

We're looking for:

• Degree in Interaction Design, Visual Communication, User Experience, or related field, or equivalent working experience knowledge/skills
• Exceptional skills in UX ideation, sketching, concepting, brainstorming, and design asset production
• Online portfolio demonstrating breadth of experience in digital product design
• Fluency with Illustrator required and experience with other rapid prototyping tools (Axure RP/Lucid) a plus
• Experience wireframing and creating low- and high-fidelity clickable prototypes for desktop, mobile, or XR applications
• Experience leading UX design work in agile, fast paced environments – fluently delivering design works for sprint cycles while continually expanding and refining UX functionality
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across internal and external audiences
