Main Responsibilities:

The Pricing analyst will have following responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze data from our competitors’ and partners’ websites : Equinix, Megaport, Amazon Web Service, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure
  • Build a model on this external data, using Machine Learning techniques, in order to compare this data to Orange’s pricing
  • Create and maintain a Pricing Tool for Evolution Platform products: Cloud Connect, Network as a Service, Virtual Network Edge, SSE,
  • Create and maintain a Business Rule Engine for the CPQ project, for following products: Internet Essential Silver and Gold, Internet Platinum, and Flexible SD-WAN,
  • Test the implementation of the BRE on CPQ and Abacus, raise bugs as needed and follow up on their resolution,

Deliverables:

The Data Analyst will deliver:

  • the Pricing Tool and the BRE to Orange, and check implementation on the CPQ and Evolution Platforms,
  • specific machine-learning projects as requested by his Manager.

about you

A potential candidate needs to meet following requirements:

  • a 3-year degree (Bachelor’s) in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Economy or Marketing
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the telecommunication industry,
  • Advanced Excel VBA programming skills,
  • Python, SQL and Microsoft Power BI,
  • Interest for Machine Learning and AI for data analysis and price modeling, and for new technologies (Machine learning, Artificial Intelligence, etc)
