Global Travel & Expenses Program Manager - Full Time - Madrid, Spain

We are looking for a/an Global Travel & Expenses Program Manager to join our GF_Finance & Controlling, Accounting team in Spain to oversee the administration, strategy, and optimization of our global travel and expense (T&E) system (SAP Concur) and corporate credit card programs. This individual will serve as the global subject matter expert (SME) for SAP Concur, drive compliance and policy adherence, and manage the vendor relationships and operational efficiency of our corporate card programs across all regions.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Concur Expense Management
- Serve as the global administrator for SAP Concur Expense and Travel platforms.
- Manage global configuration, policy alignment, system upgrades, and integrations with financial systems (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Oracle).
- Lead the implementation of enhancements and new modules, ensuring regional needs are addressed.
- Provide ongoing support and training to employees and stakeholders across regions.
- Analyze T&E data and trends to drive cost savings, compliance, and process improvements.
- Ensure Concur platform is aligned with internal travel & expense policies and regulatory requirements globally.
Corporate Credit Card Program Management
- Manage end-to-end operations of the global corporate credit card program, including card issuance, user management, and vendor relationships.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures for card usage, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Oversee integration between credit card feeds and SAP Concur, ensuring timely and accurate data flow.
- Monitor cardholder compliance and resolve exceptions and escalations.
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit, and Procurement to ensure robust internal controls and risk mitigation.
Program Strategy and Governance
- Develop and maintain global T&E and corporate card governance frameworks.
- Lead global initiatives to harmonize processes and ensure consistent policy enforcement.
- Regularly assess and benchmark program performance against industry standards and best practices.
- Prepare reports and dashboards for senior leadership on program KPIs, trends, and recommendations.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in T&E management, SAP Concur administration, and/or corporate card program oversight in a global environment.
- Strong understanding of global expense policies, audit and compliance, and financial reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in SAP Concur administration and reporting tools.
- Experience managing vendor relationships, especially with credit card providers.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
