Role Description:

CoStar Group is seeking a highly analytical and motivated Sales Operations Analyst to join the LoopNet & Ten-X Sales division. This role supports the day-to-day operations of our 200+ person sales organization, reporting directly to the Director of Sales Operations.

As part of the Sales Operations team, you will play a key role in enhancing sales efficiency, managing revenue risks, and ensuring operational excellence. You will support campaign execution, optimize workflows, and provide critical insights into revenue generation. This position will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that maximize income, ensure compliance, and drive LoopNet’s continued growth and leadership as a commercial real estate marketplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and Automate Reporting: Develop, enhance, and automate Power BI dashboards and SQL-based reports to support visibility into sales performance, pipeline activity, and key KPIs.
  • Sales Deal Support: Assist the sales team in deal structuring, ensuring compliance with pricing guidelines and internal approval processes.
  • Territory & Account Management Support: Manage requests from sales leaders for updates to books of business, prospect lists, and target account assignment; ensure accurate resource allocation across the sales team.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis & Reporting: Fulfill one-off data and reporting requests from sales leaders, including activity reports and prospect list updates to support sales strategy.
  • At-Risk Account Monitoring: Track and escalate accounts flagged as at risk at specified intervals; work cross-functionally to help resolve issues and support account retention.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited, not for profit College or University.
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers
  • 4–5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Business Intelligence in a high-growth environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL (required) for data querying, analysis, and reporting.
  • Expertise in Power BI for dashboard creation, data visualization, and KPI tracking.
  • Ability to distill complex datasets into actionable insights for business stakeholders, driving informed decision-making across teams.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with keen attention to detail, ensuring timely and accurate execution of sales operations initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style in cross-functional environments.
