Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience managing NPI programs for hardware manufacturing.
  • Experience working in networking, cloud, or data center environments.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Engineering, Operations or a relevant field.
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience managing NPI programs for printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) hardware.
  • Knowledge of hardware Bill of Materials (BOMs), process documentation, assembly and test processes.

Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As a New Product Introduction (NPI) Operations Program Manager, you will be the primary Operations/Supply Chain interface to the product development and deployment teams with the responsibility for driving operations new product development, as well as supporting those products through production ramp. In this role, you will lead a team to ensure products are designed and built to Google standards, projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres, and you will be responsible for coordinating progress and deadline updates.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional program teams within Google with external partners to prepare for production ramp or product transitions.
  • Plan and execute operations development activities and ensure transition to production within cost, quality and capacity parameters, and production transitions meeting program goals.
  • Manage ramp readiness with internal teams as well as external partners (e.g., material availability, cost/assembly/test/capacity readiness and transition plans).
  • Motivate cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain for specific reasons, while accounting for risks, changes in schedule, or demand.
