Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) helps sellers outsource order fulfillment to Amazon. By using Amazon’s advanced supply chain and technology, sellers can offer fast delivery and easy returns to customers around the world. The WW FBA Central Analytics team builds data and technical solutions that unify information, close reporting gaps, and simplify metric reconciliation across regions. We focus on delivering quick, practical solutions while working toward long-term goals that support our global partners.

We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer who is detail-oriented, curious, and motivated to help customers. In this role, you will lead projects that drive data-based decisions and influence strategy at the highest levels. One of your core responsibilities will be to own the Monthly Business Review (MBR) for senior executive leadership. You will partner with teams across the organization to collect, validate, and align metrics, and create monthly reports that are accurate and consistent.

You will also lead the Central Reporting Platform initiative, which brings together regional metrics into unified, global dashboards. This project focuses on building consistent logic and scalable reporting that improves visibility across the business. Beyond these key projects, you will automate manual processes, reduce technical debt, and improve the scalability and efficiency of reports.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of professional or military experience
  • 5+ years of SQL experience
  • Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
  • Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
  • Experience with AWS technologies
  • Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
  • Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $202,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
