JOB TITLE: SMT Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
- Set up, operate, and perform minor troubleshooting on MyCronic or Universal Fuzion SMT equipment
- Perform component placement, soldering, inspection, and AOI
- Operate additional SMT tools including X-ray, stencil printers, and reflow ovens
- Conduct equipment setup and adjustments with minimal supervision
- Ensure all work complies with IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 5S principles
- Support production targets and continuous improvement initiatives
- Read and interpret blueprints and follow written/verbal instructions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred
- 2+ years of SMT experience with MyCronic or Universal Fuzion machines
- Proficient in SMT production processes, soldering, and visual/AOI inspection
- Experience with machine shop practices and SMT equipment setup
- Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD)
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently and on rotating lines as needed
- Basic computer skills and English reading/writing proficiency
- Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
