JOB TITLE: Solder Assembly - 2nd Shift

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
- Perform advanced rework on PCBs, including:
- BGA reballing/replacement
- QFN and leadless package rework
- Fine-pitch SMT and high-density connector replacement
- Assemble and solder through-hole and SMT components using hand and reflow soldering techniques
- Conduct inspection and troubleshooting of assemblies using microscopes and X-ray/AOI systems
- Implement rework procedures and collaborate with engineering to resolve issues
- Perform light mechanical assembly (installing standoffs, spacers, adhesives, epoxies)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area per quality standards
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience in soldering and rework (advanced techniques required)
- Proficient with soldering tools (irons, reflow ovens) and inspection equipment (microscopes, AXI)
- IPC certifications (IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-7711/7721)
- Ability to read complex assembly drawings, schematics, and blueprints
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
- Comfortable working under a microscope for extended periods
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic computer skills and fluency in English (reading and writing)
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Overtime may be required based on production needs
- Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
