JOB TITLE: Solder Assembly - 2nd Shift

PAY RATE: Up to $27/hour

Summary:

  • Perform advanced rework on PCBs, including:
    • BGA reballing/replacement
    • QFN and leadless package rework
    • Fine-pitch SMT and high-density connector replacement
  • Assemble and solder through-hole and SMT components using hand and reflow soldering techniques
  • Conduct inspection and troubleshooting of assemblies using microscopes and X-ray/AOI systems
  • Implement rework procedures and collaborate with engineering to resolve issues
  • Perform light mechanical assembly (installing standoffs, spacers, adhesives, epoxies)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area per quality standards

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of experience in soldering and rework (advanced techniques required)
  • Proficient with soldering tools (irons, reflow ovens) and inspection equipment (microscopes, AXI)
  • IPC certifications (IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-7711/7721)
  • Ability to read complex assembly drawings, schematics, and blueprints
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
  • Comfortable working under a microscope for extended periods
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Basic computer skills and fluency in English (reading and writing)
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
  • Overtime may be required based on production needs
  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
