The Analytics Platforms & Experiences (APX) team is at the forefront of revolutionising Data Engineering. We drive significant increases in efficiency and productivity through a flawless ecosystem of frameworks and products that unlock observability, knowledge and enable data quality-driven orchestration at scale. APX is part of the broader Apple Services Engineering division that powers App Store, Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, Apple Books, Fitness+, the iTunes Store and more. Our team builds platform solutions to enable complex data-driven orchestration patterns, deliver actionable insights, and providing intuitive tools to build and manage data pipelines with minimal effort. We’re seeking a software engineer with knowledge of data engineering domain to join the APX Bedrock team. In this role you will help design and deliver platform solutions which will enable teams in building and operating analytics pipelines more efficiently for Apple. We focus on delivering innovative capabilities and anticipating future technological trends.
We're looking for a junior Software Engineer to join the APX Bedrock team — the foundation of our platform capabilities. You’ll help design and build scalable, user-friendly tools and backend services that make it easier for teams across Apple to manage and operate analytics pipelines efficiently. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Design and build scalable backend services that integrate big data technologies with microservices for real-time and batch data processing - Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and improve platform capabilities - Contribute to the design of intuitive developer tools and automation systems - Stay informed of industry trends and bring forward innovative ideas
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
