Job Title: General Production Worker

Pay: 1st shift: $17.50 an hour 3rd Shift: $18.50 an hour//Paid Weekly!

Job Description

The General Production Worker is responsible for checking products for quality and packaging them. This role involves collaborating with others to complete tasks and maintain high standards. Additionally, the Product Inspector may assist in training new employees, work alongside Operators, clean equipment, and perform other necessary tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Package products accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks.
• Assist in training new employees.
• Work with Operators to ensure smooth operations.
• Clean and maintain equipment as required.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to support production.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in inspection, material handling, and packaging.
• Experience with assembly and visual inspection.
• Strong understanding of quality control processes.
• Ability to use a tape measure effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable with repetitive motion of the limbs.
• Able to bend, twist, squat, and reach as required.
• Adaptability to excessively noisy environments.
• Willingness to work in non-climate-controlled environments.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Work Environment

The role operates solely in a factory setting, requiring long periods of standing and occasionally walking the plant floor. The environment is non-climate-controlled, exposing workers to potential excessive heat, cold, and noise. The night shift operates from 6:30 PM to 7 AM on a rotating schedule of 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off, with every other weekend off (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dover, Delaware.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.50/hr.
