Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer/Platform Administrator to join our Process Intelligence and Mining team. The candidate will collaborate with our business and technology partners to design, develop, and implement data models and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) solutions that integrate with our Process Intelligence and Mining solution, Celonis.

Job Description

What You'll Do:

  • Participate in analysis sessions and support data analysts to document data mapping and ETL requirements.
  • Lead the Design, Development, and Implementation of data models, ETL solutions to integrate functional data into Process Intelligence and Mining tool, Celonis.
  • Ensure connections to source systems via JDBC and Kafka are reliable and secure.
  • Maintain and provide operational support to Celonis production platform.
  • Govern access rights for the Celonis processes.
  • Optimize Celonis data models, ETL processes for performance and scalability.
  • Design, Develop, implement audit processes to ensure data integrity from application platforms to Celonis.
  • Provide ongoing support to business and technology teams to ensure continuous improvement in the areas of Process Intelligence and Automation.
  • Facilitate and lead the establishment of governance and best practices in the Process Intelligence and Automation space.
  • Assist management with setting strategic, tactical goals for the team and plans to execute them.
  • Experience with Agile Scrum Framework, Kanban.

What We're Looking For:

Minimum Requirements:

Solution Engineer Staff (SG9):

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.

Experience: 8 years of relevant work experience is required.

An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Solution Engineer Lead (SG10):

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.

Experience:10 years of relevant work experience is required.

An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Nice-to-have:

Skills/Experience:

  • Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills are essential.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, modeling, and building ETL solutions using Celonis process mining tools.
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong collaborative mindset.
  • Experience with Celonis is highly preferred; Celonis certification is a plus.
  • Experience with Kafka is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Python and other programming languages for automation is beneficial.
  • Solid understanding of ERP systems (e.g., Maximo, PeopleSoft, Oracle) and related databases.

Location: Prefer candidate to live within 50 miles of Columbus, OH

Compensation Range:

$112,869.00-146,730.50 USD

The Physical Demand Level for this job is: S – Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
