Job Title: Mechanical Assembler | $22-24/HR

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling fabricated parts into larger subassemblies and completed units. You will perform testing and calibration on parts to ensure they meet tolerances and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts into relatively large and heavy subassemblies.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and scissor lifts.
  • Use basic hand and power tools including wrenches, drills, pliers, and impact tools.
  • Read and understand drawings and prints to assemble units according to correct specifications.
  • Assist in building shipping pallets and shrink wrapping finished units for shipping.
  • Perform other production duties as assigned.

  • Ability to use a tape measure accurately
  • Ability to interpret assembly drawings and blueprints

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience in a mechanical assembly role
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations

Work Environment

You will work in a loud production environment building data cooling centers for major clients. The role involves frequent sitting, standing, crawling, bending, reaching, and using hands and fingers to handle various sized tools and components.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
