Job Description

The Global HR Systems Operations Consultant (Portfolio and Global Projects) is a key role within HR Services Tires – HR Systems Operations and you will play a central role in shaping and sustaining the success of global HR systems and processes. This position is key to ensuring smooth go-live and implementation activities, while also driving the scalability of tools and processes that support daily and line operations across the organization.

You’ll collaborate closely with Global Process Owners and a wide network of stakeholders to lead and support strategic initiatives—ranging from continuous improvement efforts to the rollout of major projects like BPO and the Voyager Project. With a strong focus on operational excellence, system optimization, and sustainable scalability, this role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on how HR services are delivered globally.

Your core responsibilities and tasks will be:

  • Lead, drive and/or support go-live and implementation activities for global HR systems processes and projects (e.g., BPO, Voyager Project) such as:
    • Establish and maintain effective project organization and communication structures.
    • Manage and report on project status, project milestones, risk tracking, escalation and mitigation strategies.
    • Oversee HR deliverables across all project phases (Initiation to Stabilization).
    • Align and facilitate communication, change and engagement strategies with business, CoEs and stakeholders.
    • Collaborate closely with project managers and system business owners.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with Global Process Owners and stakeholders after go-live.
  • Act as work package owner focusing on operations and continuous improvement standards.
  • Provide system operations consulting to ensure global scalability and operational readiness.
  • Ensure scalability and sustainability of tools and processes for daily and line operations.
  • Support the optimization and replacement of existing systems and operational processes like authorizations, demand & release management and others.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration across the global HR / HRIT project community.

Qualifications

  • A talent for “connecting the dots” and translating complexity into actionable solutions.
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally in HR systems or project environments.
  • Previous experience with Continental HR/HRIT, project work and project management methodologies is a must.
  • A university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Experience with HR systems operations (e.g., authorizations, incident management) as well as detailed knowledge about HR Technology platform and data flow is a strong plus.
  • Strong system and process affinity, with a pragmatic and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage complex tasks and collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a global, virtual environment.
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English; confident in both written and verbal communication.
  • Self-driven, discipline, and eager to learn in an agile, fast-paced setting.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
