Job Description:

What You'll Do

The Product Professional is responsible for maximizing the value of the product resulting from work of the Team.

Product Professionals are at the center of delivering new products and driving innovation on platforms that improve customer experience, meet customer needs, and create business value while prioritizing "what" the team is working on to deliver value to the customer. The Product Professional is a servant leader and not the manager of team members, has well-rounded job knowledge and helps to coach/mentor others on the team. Structure the work for the team and delegates the work.

Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

How You'll Do It

  • Product Vision: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog to ensure the delivery of valuable features and enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders, including customers, business leaders, and development teams, to gather requirements and feedback for continuous improvement.
  • PI/Sprint Planning: Participate in sprint planning meetings to ensure the team understands the product goals and priorities.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor and communicate the progress of the development team to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and addressing any impediments.
  • Release Planning: Plan and manage product releases, ensuring timely delivery and coordination with other teams.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and updating product processes, practices, and tools.

Qualifications You'll Need

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration and Management, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or Statistics
  • 4+ years Product Management or Engineering experience in Financial Services or Tech Industry or related

In Lieu of Education Experience

  • 6+ years Product Management or Engineering experience in Financial Services or Tech Industry or related

Preferred Requirements

Infrastructure

  • Technical Expertise: Understanding of infrastructure components such as servers, networks, and cloud services.
  • Strategic Planning: Ability to plan and prioritize infrastructure projects to align with business goals.
  • Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks associated with infrastructure changes and upgrades.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with BT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and operation.

Fraud

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data to detect and prevent fraudulent activities.
  • Knowledge of Fraud Detection Tools: Familiarity with tools and technologies used for fraud detection and prevention.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that fraud prevention measures comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with BT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and operation.

Settlement Capability

  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial processes and settlement mechanisms.
  • Accuracy and Efficiency: Ensuring accurate and timely settlement of transactions.
  • System Integration: Ability to integrate settlement systems with other financial systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Addressing and resolving settlement discrepancies and issues.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with BT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and operation.

Settlement Reporting Capability

  • Reporting Skills: Ability to generate and interpret settlement reports.
  • Data Analysis: Analyzing settlement data to identify trends and issues.
  • Compliance: Ensuring that settlement reporting complies with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with BT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and operation.

Data Warehouse/ORMB/PULSE Champions

  • Data Management: Expertise in managing and organizing large volumes of data.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of data warehousing technologies and tools.
  • Data Integration: Ability to integrate data from various sources into the data warehouse.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with BT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and operation.
  • Agile Certification - Certified Scrum Master or Scrum Product Owner

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $102,500.00 to $143,300.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
