Job Description

As a material handler, you will operated a stand up forklift. You will also provide lead assistance to team members in manufacturing, overseeing set-up, operations, and other manufacturing duties. You will handle administrative tasks and paperwork assignments, ensuring production runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Perform job tasks on the liquid filling line, ensuring production runs smoothly, including workflow and efficiency.
• Train, delegate, and assign tasks to team members, addressing basic personnel questions or issues.
• Complete necessary paperwork and reports, providing brief written updates to supervisors as required.
• Operate equipment, complete set-up and changeover of the line, and handle minor maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Ensure safety requirements are met at all times.
• Perform other duties and complete projects as assigned.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a lead within a GMP-regulated environment.
• Machine knowledge and manufacturing skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and perform changeovers on machines.
• Thorough understanding of production and manufacturing processes.
• Strong leadership abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, production, and manufacturing environments.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean and includes amenities such as a large breakroom with refrigerators and vending machines. Candidates are required to wear steel-toed boots, solid t-shirts, jeans or work pants without holes, and safety glasses.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
