The Gluer Machine Operator is integral to maintaining the optimum production output and ensuring the efficient operation of gluer machines. Working on the 1st shift from 6 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday, this position is responsible for starting the machine once all sections are set up and all team members are prepared. The operator inspects cartons for proper folding of creases, caliper, and bond, and checks for any marks or defects. Continuous quality checks are performed to identify defects such as cracking, gluing, printing, and caliper issues, stopping the machine if necessary to make corrective adjustments.

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $43680.00/yr.
Position Summary:
The Gluer Operator is responsible for the efficient setup, operation, and maintenance of window/gluer machines to ensure high-quality production output. This role plays a key part in meeting production schedules, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor gluer machines for optimal performance and quality.
Perform machine setup, adjustments, and preventative maintenance.
Ensure adherence to quality specifications and report variances.
Assist with job start-ups, breakdowns, and efficient machine operation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Collaborate with scheduling and quality teams to meet production goals.
Train and support team members as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
3–5 years of experience in window/gluer operations; supervisory experience a plus.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:
Moderate noise level in a manufacturing setting.
Must follow all safety and GMP/food safety protocols.
This is a fully onsite position in Whitsett,NC.
