Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

The contractor will be responsible for filling totes for the warehouse team, operating a scrubber machine to maintain a safe warehouse environment, and operating a forklift when necessary. This role requires the ability to work independently and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Fill totes for the warehouse team efficiently.
  • Operate a scrubber machine to clean and maintain a safe warehouse environment.
  • Work independently and operate a forklift as needed.
  • Utilize RF scanners for inventory management.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately.
  • Load and unload trucks promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 6 months of forklift experience (sit-down preferred).
  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • 1+ year of experience using RF scanners.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Steel-toe boots required.

Work Environment

Experience working in a clean, well-lit warehouse setting with exposure to cold temperatures during winter months due to open dock doors. Prepare for a fast-paced, physically intensive work environment requiring frequent lifting, bending, and standing, with approximately 5 hours of overtime per week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
