This is a hands-on Lead Developer position in State Street Market’s Secured Finance division. We are looking for candidate who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization that’s always pushing boundaries. The ideal candidate has experience developing applications using Java/J2EE, APIs, databases, AWS, Databricks and multiple back-end languages
What you will be responsible for
As Lead Developer/Architect you will
- Design & Develop SSGM-Secured Financing applications using AWS and Databricks
- Expert-level knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks, front-end architecture patterns, and performance optimization techniques.
- Responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, integration testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Work collaboratively within an agile project team
What we value

- Experienced, highly skilled in the following cloud technologies as a design lead and developer level. AWS, Databricks, Core Java, Tomcat or another J2EE application server, Oracle/Exadata, GitHub, MQ , Kafka PL/SQL, Perl, Scripting languages and other open source technologies etc..
- Expertise on Spring framework, Core Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot etc.
- Experience using Scrum, Agile modeling and adaptive software development is preferred.
- Continuous integration and build process, test automation and deployment experience.
- Expertise with modern UI framework ReactJS
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Masters or B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field
- 15+ years of progressive experience
- 5+ years of experience with ReactJS
- Experience performing data analysis and data exploration
- Experience working in an agile delivery environment
- Exposure/understanding of DevOps best practice and CICD (i.e. Jenkins)
- Experience working in a multi-developer environment, using version control (i.e. Git)
Salary Range:
$130,000 - $205,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
