Job Summary

As a Multi-Skilled Construction Laborer, you will be a versatile and essential member of our construction team. You will perform a wide range of labor-oriented tasks on construction sites, including equipment operation with a focus on loader operation, offroad truck driving, roller operation, and general construction support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Laborer Duties:
  • Engage in physically demanding tasks such as digging, shoveling, lifting, and carrying materials.
  • Assist with excavation, grading, trenching, and material handling tasks.
  • Perform manual labor to support construction operations.
  • Loader Operator Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain loaders to perform tasks such as material handling and moving heavy equipment.
  • Load materials onto trucks or other equipment with precision and efficiency.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on loaders and report any issues to the maintenance department.
  • Offroad Truck Driver Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate offroad trucks to transport materials, equipment, and personnel within construction sites.
  • Adhere to safe driving practices, including load securing and vehicle maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials transported and adhere to schedules.
  • Roller Operator Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain rollers to compact and level surfaces, ensuring proper compaction of materials.
  • Follow project plans and specifications to achieve desired compaction results.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on rollers and report any issues to the maintenance department.
  • Construction Support:
  • Collaborate effectively with project managers, supervisors, and fellow team members.
  • Assist in maintaining the quality of construction work, ensuring it complies with project standards and specifications.
  • Participate in various construction tasks and projects as directed by the team.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Laborer, Loader Operator, Offroad Truck Driver, Roller Operator, or in similar labor-oriented roles in the heavy civil construction industry.
  • Knowledge of construction techniques and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong commitment to safety and strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • Experience operating loaders, offroad trucks, or rollers is preferred.
  • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and at different job sites as required.
