Your role

We’re looking for software engineers to:

• provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services
• understand technical requirements of application being built
• deliver sustainable solutions using modern programming languages
• providing technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications
• conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in design and other phases of sdlc
• see that proper operational controls and procedures are implemented to process move from test to production

Your team

You will be a key member of FA Loans team and expanding Financial Advisors Loans platform and part of the new exited projects. We are them who works very closely with our business partners and take pride in the quality of work that we do. As a team, we design and provide technical solutions for all new products required for Financial Advisors and our Home Office business partners. Working closely with peers from the business team as well as other engineering teams.

This will be an AO level role based in Pune, India with our growing development presence in the UBS India office

Your expertise

• 5+ years full stack development with experience using java, javascript , servlet & jsp, jquery, css, ajax , jdbc ,html, react, open‐source libraries, tools and technologies.
• strong knowledge of web development frameworks such as spring boot, spring mvc, hibernate, and restful apis.
• experience with front-end technologies such as html5, css3, javascript, and modern javascript frameworks.
• hands-on experience with azure cloud services, including azure app service, azure functions, azure storage, and azure devops.
• proficient in database development and query creation using sql and experience with relational databases ( postgresql & oracle).
• familiarity with continuous integration deployment (ci/cd) pipelines
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• experience with build tools like maven, and development tools such as intellij, github.
