Job Description

Development is the largest discipline at Endava. Our developers design, build, and release software products in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and libraries. Always collaborating with cross-functional project teams, our developers are adaptable problem-solvers with a client-oriented mindset.

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior .NET Developer with Azure expertise to join our development team. This role is pivotal in building robust, scalable, and cloud-native applications that drive our digital transformation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead the design and development of high-quality solutions, and ensure best practices in cloud and backend development are upheld.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain secure and high-performing applications using C#/.NET Core/.NET 6+.
• Lead the integration of Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Functions, App Services, Azure SQL, Storage, Event Grid, and Azure DevOps.
• Implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and message-based architectures (e.g., using Azure Service Bus or Event Hub).
• Collaborate with architects and product managers to translate business requirements into scalable software solutions.
• Contribute to and review architectural decisions, technical documentation, and coding standards.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Champion DevOps culture, automation, and test-driven development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with .NET Core / .NET 6+, C#, and related technologies.
• 3+ years of experience designing and deploying solutions in Microsoft Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Azure PaaS services, including App Services, Functions, Key Vault, Application Insights, and Azure SQL.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
• Proficient in writing clean, maintainable code with an emphasis on SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of unit testing and integration testing frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
