Position Overview
The Lied Center serves as a catalyst for the arts, creativity, engagement and community-building at the University of Kansas and beyond, presenting and hosting well over 200 events per year. The Events & Box Office Coordinator plays a meaningful role in the areas of front-of-house services, ticketing and volunteer coordination for these events.
The Events & Box Office Coordinator assists the Senior Director of Events and Audience Services (SEASD) in front-of-house operations for events and will coordinate the Lied Center’s team of approximately 100 volunteer ushers. They also assist the SEASD and work with the Box Office & Events Manager (BOEM) in executing ticketing operations, including customer service and season ticket sales. The Events & Box Office Coordinator must be willing to work an irregular schedule, including evenings and weekends, to facilitate the optimal audience experience at the Lied Center.
