Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000, annually plus bonus eligibility

Position Summary:

As a Project Manager at OTG, you will be responsible for driving project initiatives with our product team from inception through execution. In this role you will collaborate closely with operations and other cross-functional team members within the organization to ensure that our project roadmaps are well executed ensuring that we deliver high quality products on time and in budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong project management fundamentals with a focus on agile planning, sprint execution, and retrospectives tailored to data teams.
  • Proven experience managing data or analytics projects, including data pipeline builds, infrastructure upgrades, and BI tool implementations.
  • Ability to translate high-level business objectives into detailed technical roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Familiarity with modern data stack components is a plus (e.g., ETL tools, cloud data warehouses, version control, orchestration platforms.)
  • Skilled in working closely with data engineers, DBAs, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and prioritize work.
  • Experience facilitating technical discussions and ensuring alignment across engineering, analytics, and product teams.
  • Understanding of Looker (or similar BI platforms), including dashboard deployment workflows, LookML model maintenance, and permissions management.
  • Ability to manage enhancements to the Looker instance in coordination with data engineering and analytics stakeholders.
  • Experience managing data infrastructure projects such as database migrations, schema design changes, or performance tuning initiatives.
  • Able to synthesize technical progress into clear updates for leadership, identify blockers early, and drive resolution.
  • Comfortable managing competing priorities and making tradeoff decisions with data quality and business impact in min.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in project or program management, ideally within a data, engineering, or analytics function.
  • Strong working knowledge of data tools and concepts (e.g., SQL, ELT/ETL, data warehousing, BI.)
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Jira or other project management tools.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects while meeting aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment, including ability to manage multiple project resources with extensive project planning and execution skills.
  • Experience in managing large-scale, complex projects.
  • Experience with large data platforms.
  • Experience in leading inter-organization change to increase efficiency through the implementation of technology.
  • Data Analysis skills/experience required to understand the problems in data space and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Must have excellent analytical and research skills.
  • High integrity, work ethic, passion, and commitment to OTG values .
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
