We are seeking a detail-oriented Encapsulation Operator to join our production team on the 2nd shift. In this role, you’ll be responsible for operating, maintaining, and cleaning both semi-automatic (Model 10) and high-speed (Bosch) encapsulation machines in a cGMP-compliant environment. You’ll work closely with Quality Control and follow all SOPs and Master Batch Record (MBR) instructions to ensure accurate, efficient, and high-quality capsule production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up encapsulation machines with correct tooling per MBR specifications and departmental SOPs
- Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble machines and work areas before and after each production run
- Manually fill product and capsule hoppers using sanitary tools
- Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate fill weights and proper operation
- Operate capsule polishers and metal detectors as needed
- Inspect finished capsules for visual defects, color shifts, or material inconsistencies
- Coordinate with Quality Control for batch sign-offs and compliance with all cGMP standards
- Maintain cleanliness of tabletops, guard doors/windows, and base cabinets
- Complete accurate documentation and follow production protocols with precision
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment preferred
- Ability to follow strict procedures and regulatory requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and working in a cleanroom setting
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
