Position Summary:
As a CNC Laser Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC laser cutting machines to cut and shape materials according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience working with CNC laser systems and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines (e.g., Trumpf, Bystronic, Amada, Mazak)
- Load and unload materials and finished parts
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–3 years of experience operating CNC laser cutting machines
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with metal types, gauges, and cutting techniques
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic math and computer skills
