We are looking for an Assistant Revenue Manager based at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong!

As an Assistant Revenue Manager, we rely on you to:

  • Act as a part of Revenue Optimisation COE Hong Kong and assist Assistant Vice President, Revenue Optimisation (Hong Kong) in championing the revenue maximization initiatives in different revenue streams by creating appropriate statistical and competitive background information and by implementing all Revenue Optimisation processes and using all available revenue tools
  • Assist to establish the rate structure for rooms and events across all market segments in accordance with Shangri-La pricing philosophy and update the rate / price on timely basis to accommodate market deviation
  • Assist in collecting and consolidating information across all stakeholders and convey to a statistical view for the management review
  • Drive a process to optimize production across all distribution channels keeping in mind cost, guest loyalty and seamless connectivity
  • Participate in revenue strategy meetings and review the weekly forecast and critique against actual, provide analytical support for deciding yield strategy and pricing strategy
  • Work with Reservations Department to ensure that the appropriate rates, promotions, packages and inventory are available on all distribution channels
  • Promote and share Revenue Culture across the revenue generating departments and work with them on strategies for different market segments to optimize business mix

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Degree holder preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or Statistics disciplines
  • Solid working experience in revenue management; preferably in hospitality or airlines industries
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with business acumen
  • Strong leadership skill and interpersonal skill
  • Passionate, proactive and continue to excel; able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications; especially in the use of Excel functions and formulations
  • Well-versed in both written and spoken English and Chinese
