Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Manager within the Cancer Registry-Operations at the Rutgers Cancer Institute.
The Program Manager of Cancer Surveillance Operations at the New Jersey State Cancer Registry oversees all operational and programmatic aspects of data collection and quality assurance activities for New Jersey’s statewide cancer surveillance system. The Program Manager will work closely with the Director of Cancer Epidemiology Services/New Jersey State Cancer Registry and Program Manager/Deputy Director of Cancer Surveillance Research to manage and fulfill deliverables of the Center of Excellence for Cancer Surveillance, which was formed through a partnership between the New Jersey Department of Health and the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey.
The Program Manager will also work closely with partners from local, state, and national agencies, including but not limited to the New Jersey Department of Health (e.g., Division of Epidemiology, Environmental, and Occupational Health Services and Division of Community Health); the National Cancer Institute’s Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) Program; the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Program of Cancer Registries (NPCR); the North American Association of Central Cancer Registries (NAACCR); and, the National Cancer Registrar’s Association (NCRA).

The final salary offer may be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expertise, and availability of department or grant funds to support the position.
