Job Title: Lab Technician – Optical Systems & Satellite Manufacturing

Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and technically skilled Lab Technician to support our optical systems and satellite manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in laboratory environments, with a strong foundation in maintaining and troubleshooting high-precision equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on laboratory and manufacturing equipment.
  • Assist in the calibration and testing of optical systems and satellite components.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and accurately document test results.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot optical testing setups and associated hardware.
  • Ensure strict adherence to ESD and cleanroom protocols.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance logs and manage inventory of tools and supplies.
  • Participate in training programs and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in optical testing procedures and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with satellite systems and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX/UGS) and technical documentation practices.
  • Experience with PLM software (e.g., Teamcenter) is a plus.
  • Certification in ESD control or cleanroom operations.
  • Laser Safety Officer Certification.

Experience Level: Entry Level

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.70/hr.
