As a Project Manager – Complex Spares, Upgrades & Rebuilds, you will be the key driver behind successful project execution from order or pre-order through to final delivery and closure. Acting as the single point of contact for both internal teams and the customer, you’ll ensure seamless coordination, timely delivery, and world-class service.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Coordination

  • Serve as the primary liaison between FLSmidth and our customers.
  • Coordinate customer inputs, technical/commercial approvals, and manage deviations when necessary.
  • Lead periodic customer meetings to update on project progress, mitigate risks, and resolve challenges.
  • Manage escalations and queries in line with service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Proactively communicate delivery timelines and mitigation plans for any delays.
  • Ensure proper documentation and invoicing for any out-of-scope service/product deliveries.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction aligned with FLSmidth’s KPIs.
  • Oversee compliance with safety and administrative protocols for any FLSmidth or partner personnel on-site.

Internal Coordination

  • Develop and communicate detailed project plans to internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor internal deliverables for timeliness, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Track project manhours, control costs, and ensure target contribution margin (CM) is met.
  • Resolve or escalate cross-functional conflicts that could impact delivery.
  • Expedite critical path items and coordinate material acceptance approvals with the customer.
