Job Title: Adjunct Teaching - Theatre Sound Design (TMA 369R) and Production Leads (TMA 489)

Required Degree: BA or BFA.
The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Experience:
2+ years theatre sound technician or audio mixing experience. 1+ years university-teaching experience in one or more theatre design and technology disciplines (scenic, lighting, costumes, sound, makeup, and/ or media design) preferred. We also are interested in reviewing applications from candidates who have accomplished notable teaching outside of university settings.
Duties/Expectations:
Design for theatre season productions as needed. Teach the following classes: TMA 369R Design Practicum, TMA 489 Production Leads.
Mentor student designers through the theatre design process on theatre season productions as needed, including attending some technical rehearsals with students. This will require meetings at 8:00 am weekdays, and evening and weekend rehearsals. Perform some administrative duties related to the sound area as needed.
