  • Lead end-to-end QA efforts for complex projects, with a strong emphasis on automated testing strategy, design, and execution.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, etc.).
  • Mentor and support junior QA team members in both manual and automated testing techniques, fostering upskilling and best practices adoption.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers to define test automation coverage, acceptance criteria, and risk-based testing plans.
  • Oversee post-release validation and ongoing regression test automation across integrated systems.
  • Design and manage reusable test data and test harnesses for automation pipelines and CI/CD integration.
  • Perform root cause analysis and coordinate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Participate in day-to-day API, database, and UI-level test automation, defect triaging, and quality reporting.
  • Provide input on software design to improve testability, reliability, and performance.
  • Contribute to the definition and evolution of QA frameworks, coding standards, and quality metrics.
  • Maintain traceability across requirements, test cases, and defects, ensuring compliance with GxP and regulatory standards when required.
  • Collaborate effectively with onshore and offshore QA teams to drive consistent execution and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 3 years in test automation for web, backend, and/or API testing.
  • Proficiency in one or more test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, JMeter, Postman).
  • Solid experience writing test scripts in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation into DevOps workflows.
  • Experience in GxP-regulated environments or highly regulated domains (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Effective communicator and collaborator across cross-functional agile teams.
  • Experience leading QA initiatives or projects and mentoring junior team members.
  • Passionate about continuous improvement and delivering high-quality, reliable software.

Summary

The Sr QA Tester is responsible for ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality before they are released to the market. This role involves meticulously testing software applications to identify and document bugs, performance issues, and other defects, as well as verifying that all project requirements are met. As a senior member of the QA team, this role also includes mentoring junior testers and leading testing efforts for complex projects. This role will collaborate closely with a team of project manager, engineering team, business analyst and other professionals to deliver quality product, and within timelines.
