We have exciting positions in our new Nestlé global services operations based in Bangalore, which works alongside our Regional IT Hub in Sydney and Global IT hubs to provide technology services. This set up will design, implement and maintain IT solutions and sharpen Nestlé’s focus in the growing areas of digital, analytics and innovation to support changing customer, consumer and shopper focus.

Senior Data Scientist – Job description

Bachelor’s degree or higher (Engineering/ Computer Science)

• Masters would be good to have (in disciplines like Data Science, Business Administrations, and Economics)
• 6-9 years of experience in Analytics embedded in Business organizations .
• At least 2 years of excellent hands on experience developing advance predictive models to solve business problems
• At least 2 years of experience working in a coding language such as R, SQL, Python or similar language
• You have strategic thinking and business acumen
• You are experienced in stakeholder management as well as in conflict resolution in a cross-functional environment.
• You are eager to learn new things and are open to the ever changing needs of the new digital world whatever that may mean over the years to come.
• Demonstrates personal commitment to change through actions and words
• You communicate effectively with all levels of business and technical professionals in English
• Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual team.

Mandatory Skills:

• Data science domain
• Supply Chain domain experience at least 2 years is mandate
• Statistics, understanding algorithms, ML, Predictive modelling, supervise learning,
• Tech stack : Azure Cloud, Data Bricks, programming language like Python, or R Programming,
