Job Summary:

KBR is seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Manager to join our Air Combat Branch, playing a pivotal role in managing acquisition and service contracts for the F-15C and F-15E as part of the Simulator’s Division. This position requires collaboration with F-15EX simulators and other F-15 simulator programs, ensuring excellence in project execution and delivery. Successful candidate must be able to thrive in a dynamic environment with rapidly changing requirements and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly analyze and resolve issues concerning processes, work methods, data management, risk assessment, and operational procedures, resulting in improved timeliness and quality in delivery to our Government customers.
  • Provide essential program support services ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of required products to our Government customers and the overall F-15 training systems program.
  • Support the Program Manager in offering assistance to the staff and engineering team, and manage some configuration manager duties including RFP packages, requiring detailed program knowledge.
  • Draft comprehensive performance work statements, edit and create impactful briefing slides, attend meetings, and take detailed notes as required.

Work Environment:

Location: On-Site WPAFB

Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%

Working Hours: Standard

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (in business or project/program management preferred), plus 7-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Words, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, reviewing documents from technical team to drive quality performance from industry partner.
  • Active Secret DoD Clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in writing and responding to Federal and DoD Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Experience supporting large working groups and multiple tasks at once
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Specialized expertise in U.S. Air Force fighter aircraft systems
  • Top Secret DoD Clearance
