The Server Operations team monitors the physical and network infrastructure behind Google’s technology. As a Server Operations Director, you will be responsible for all aspects of running the systems & related logistics processes for the data centers in your region. This includes oversight of the hardware components of Google’s compute, storage, and network infrastructure in the most efficient, secure, and scalable way possible.
You will be leading a team of managers and data center technicians who deploy, operate and support the network, compute and storage infrastructure that keeps Google's products and services running to meet business demands. You will help oversee the operation and maintenance of systems and network components, and be accountable to keeping these running in the data centers in your region.
In this role of Server Operations Director, you are at the forefront of industry leading environmental practices. Working with partners, vendors and teams at a global scale, you will participate and lead complex installations and activities focused on delivering site performance and high impact to our customers.
You bring the ideas of our platforms engineering teams to life and develop creative approaches to reducing operational costs while improving efficiencies.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $253,000-$356,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
