Are you a passionate Business Intelligence Engineer ready to transform and improve Amazon's Risk & Compliance throughout the world?

As part of the GRAM Tech team, you'll be at the forefront of digitizing and automating critical compliance processes across Amazon's vast transportation network. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your technical expertise to streamline workflows, enhance the carrier experience, and drive the shift towards proactive, data-driven risk management.

Key job responsibilities

  • Designing and developing scalable data pipelines and platforms to ingest, process, and analyze compliance-related data from multiple sources (e.g., carrier records, regulatory databases, telematics).
  • Implementing advanced analytics and machine learning models to automate manual compliance checks, such as validating driver licenses or detecting potential contract violations.
  • Building user-friendly applications and dashboards that provide carrier partners and internal auditors with real-time visibility into compliance status and performance.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with product managers, compliance experts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into innovative, impactful solutions.
  • Staying on the forefront of data engineering and analytics trends to continuously optimize TRC processes and identify new opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of SQL experience
  • Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
  • Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
  • Experience with AWS technologies
  • Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
  • Bachelor's Degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
  • Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $202,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
