We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead all aspects of and guide our software development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, outstanding leadership skills, and a passion for developing high-quality software solutions with a focus on modern web technologies, especially React. This is a hybrid role working out of our Plano, TX corporate office. Responsibilities are as follows:

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, encouraging a culture of collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Manage the software development lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define project goals, functional requirements, and technical constraints.
• Drive front-end and back-end technical design and architecture discussions, with a particular emphasis on React-based development.
• Promote standard methodologies in React development, including reusable component design, performance optimization, and testing strategies.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members.
• Facilitate team meetings, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies—particularly within the React and front-end ecosystems—to inform and evolve team capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 15 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive experience building modern web applications using React.js, including experience with React Hooks, Context API, and component-based design.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and modern build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite, Babel).
• Hands-on experience with state management libraries (e.g., Zustand, Redux, MobX) and data integration via RESTful APIs or GraphQL.
• Proficiency in customer-facing application development and a strong grasp of UI/UX principles.
• Understanding of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and OmniStudio.
• Experience with backend programming languages such as Java, Python, or .NET.
• Strong experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure or AWS) and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Previous experience managing remote or hybrid teams.
• Experience integrating React front-ends with Salesforce-based or enterprise platforms.
