???? About the Role: Assistant Nurse Operations Manager (ANOM)
As ANOM, you will support the Multisystem Progressive Care Unit (PCU) — a dynamic, fast-paced 40-bed unit delivering exceptional acute care to a wide variety of patients including those with Cardiac, Respiratory, Neuro, Renal, GI, and Post-Op needs. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity with 24/7 shared accountability and strong educational support through both corporate and unit-level development resources.
???? Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct leadership support alongside the Nursing Operations Manager
- Manage staffing and scheduling to ensure optimal patient care
- Lead recruitment, performance development, and corrective action processes
- Participate in nurse leader rounding and enforce clinical and regulatory best practices
- Champion quality and process improvement initiatives
- Foster a culture of excellence in patient experience, safety, and outcomes
- Deliver service recovery and ensure a positive environment for patients and families
✅ Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years RN experience in an acute care setting
Education:
- BSN required if no MSN
- MSN, DNP, or a graduate degree in health-related or business field preferred
Licensure/Certifications:
- Current Florida RN license or compact state license
- BLS certification required
- Additional certifications may include: ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC depending on patient population
