ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Personnel Tracking and Locating Project Manager to join our team in Sterling, VA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • The Personnel Tracking and Locating (PTL) Project Manager (Training) is responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating, conducting, and supervising training tasks and missions within the PTL Section and for the PTB when directed.
  • Develops training plans, assembles the proper personnel, develops timelines, identifies required resources and executes the plan to completion.
  • Applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's business practices and issues.
  • The successful candidate will typically possess 5–8 years of successful experience with protective technology equipment supporting Diplomatic Security missions.
  • Responsible for working with subject matter experts in the PTL technology and other Protective Technology Branch programs to respond to requests from Foreign Service posts and other entities within DOS.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of PTL Training at the Foreign Affairs Security Training Center (FASTC). Support developing and execute training packages for CONUS and OCONUS requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a FSI certified instructor.
  • Must have five (5) years of technical and related experience in the field of coordination and technical support for protective technology equipment and systems.
  • Experience with creating training curriculum and conducting technical training.
  • Must be able to develop TTP for supporting current operations at High Threat Posts and updating training curriculum based on emerging threats for Diplomatic Security teams around the world.
  • Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows OS and office automation software (e.g., Microsoft Office, SharePoint).
  • Must have a working knowledge of Maximo CMMS.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferably 1–2 years of knowledge with the PTL program and technologies.
  • May be required to travel CONUS and OCONUS up to 25% of the calendar year to attend or conduct training events.
  • OCONUS travel will be required to High Threat Posts and other remote locations.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have an active/current Top-Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Mainly works in an indoor office environment- uses a computer and other office equipment and moves about to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • May have to remain in a stationary position to deliver training.
  • Communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
