SUMMARY STATEMENT/POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an Operations Manager for our fulfillment facility in Greer, SC. The Operations Manager will oversee various operational functions, including receiving, warehousing, value-added services, and distribution activities. This role will be vital in contributing to the leadership and profitability of this growing business unit.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you are skilled at identifying efficiencies, leading teams, and engaging with customers. The ideal candidate has knowledge of operational setup, workflow optimization, and staffing, with experience in e-commerce.

Operations typically run one day shift, Monday through Friday, but may change depending on customer needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBLITIES - Operations Manager:

  • Supervise daily operations and ensure productivity across all non-sequencing activities within the facility.
  • Plan, direct, and manage all operational maintenance activities.
  • Oversee and implement the safety program for the facility.
  • Accountable for operational costs, inventory accuracy, and product quality. Adjust operational processes and inventory controls to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and employees to address and resolve operational issues.
  • Identify, monitor, and maintain operational performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, training, and customer requirements, while adhering to applicable regulations.
  • Continuously improve operational efficiency and increase productivity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

SPECIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, OR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Retail experience, particularly in apparel or footwear, is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing teams and delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and effectively manage and motivate others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong conflict resolution and coordination skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to effectively operate a computer.
